PhD student Nikolina Kalčec spent time at the Medical University of Graz, Austria from March 1st to March 16th 2020, as a part of the research visits financed by COST Action CA17140 Nano2Clinic. The stay was scheduled until 30th April 2020, but due to Covid-19 situation, it had to be terminated earlier.

PhD student Kalčec carried out drug loading on gold nanoparticles synthesis. She is also broden her expertise in innovative characterization methods such as Optofluidics technology (OF2i) developed by the research group lead by Prof. Ruth Prassl. Her newly acquired knowledge she can apply to the continuation of the research after coming back to Zagreb.
